The City of Bath (22 km)- The beautiful historic city of Bath has many attractions such a the Roman Baths and 18th century
Pump Room and The Royal Crescent. Bath also offers fantastic shopping along with some award-winning restaurants.
Lacock Abbey, Fox Talbot Museum & Village (10 km)- Lacock Abbey founded in 1232. The village dating from Medieval times
remains unspoilt and has good inns and a National Trust shop. The abbey is also featured in the recent Harry Potter films.
Westonbirt Arboretum (48 km)- Founded in 1829 by Robert Stayner Holford of Westonbirt House. In 1956 the Forestry Commission
acquired Westonbirt and opened it to the general public. It is one of the finest and largest collections of temporate trees and
shrubs in the world.
Cheddar Caves and Gorge (58 km)- This is the place of wild and rugged beauty. It is Britain's biggest gorge and Britain's
most beautiful caves. Audio-guided tours in English, French and German. A new museum tells the story of 40,000 years of human
occupation in these caves.
