Monkey World (15 km)- Monkey World is a 60 acre park set in Dorset countryside. While recognised as leading experts in ape
rescue and rehabilitation, the park is also home to a wide variety of primates including: orangutans, gibbons, woolly monkeys,
macaques and marmosets.
Jurassic Coast (1 km)- Towards the end of the Jurassic period and the start of the Cretaceous period, Dorset was covered by
swamps and lagoons in which the dinosaurs roamed. We know this because dinosaur footprints have been preserved in the rocks that
are found around the Swanage area.
