Foxcombe Lodge was officially opened in July 1985 by his Grace the Duke of Marlborough. Characterised with individually styled decor, warm colours and a personal welcome, the hotel provides its residents with a restaurant and bars. Set in beautiful gardens in the tranquil setting of Boars Hill, yet located 4 miles from the centre of Oxford and Abingdon, the hotel is an ideal base for visiting Oxford's historic colleges and exploring the picturesque villages of the Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill.
All bedrooms were refurbished 2002-2003 and are still ensuite and equipped with colour televisions, direct dial telephones, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. Several four poster suites are available. Fresh fruit is always provided in the bedrooms and flowers for a special occasion can be arranged.

A comprehensive wine menu accompanies the HolmOak and the A la Carte menus which are available all week to both residents and non-residents. The MG Bar and F1 Bar boasts a selection of over 300 drinks to choose from and if you like your whiskey then you are in the right place. Open all day it provides an ideal place to relax or play with one of the bar games available or to talk to fellow residents and visiting drinkers.
